The Affordable Care Act (ACA) is a healthcare reform that makes insurance more affordable for low-to-moderate income Americans through subsidies, provides free preventative care, and protects people with pre-existing conditions.

The best time to apply is during the open enrollment period, which runs November 1 , 2022 – January 15, 2023. You may qualify for a special enrollment period if you recently lost health insurance, changed jobs, got married, had a baby, and/or other major life events.
